Some of my family pics are not displaying now?, Whats up with that? They used to display fine but some are now not showing.

I've noticed 3 different "graphics" for family members, one of which
appears to be an error.

(1) - Person has photo and photo displays correctly like my father -

(2) - Person has NO photo and "no photo" icon of a head in silhouette
displays correctly like my son -
(3) - PROBLEM - Person HAS photo, HAS displayed correctly but now does
NOT. Display appears like a "missing graphic" icon - like my wife -.

I've tried from different computers and tried different browsers but
they are all problematic.

This forum is about as "active" as the Geni "support" folks.

Yawn.....

In response to my support ticket: [#DZE-573136]: Profile picture not visible in tree view

In Safari, FireFox and Chrome the profile pictures of some profiles is not visible in tree-view. In Internet Explorer they are however visible.

I got the answer:
We're currently aware of this issue and are working on resolving it.

It is not a question of Safari, FireFox, Chrome or Explorer. We (my nephew and I) have opened Geni on the same computer, on the same Firefox session and on my nephew's tree you can see the pictures when on mine you can't.

Geez! How long can it take to fix this!? Are we sure they are aware and more over, are they fixing?

LOL Jack, feeling somewhat entitled today?

Even IF it was a workday, it often takes time to identify what the actual cause of the problem is, let alone fix it. And here you are complaining that a relatively minor issue is not getting resolved over the week-end?

Are you even a paying customer, that you demand this kind of response-time? Even if you are, this issue would hardly justify asking people to work on their day off. I actually know some of Geni's engineers, and they DO put in a lot of extra effort day and night, to keep Geni up and running. But this type of "problem" can certainly wait until monday, or even wednesday....

Hey SHSMFSLIRFHLDII or whatever your name is - How would I know they don't work on weekends? Lots of web folks supportt 24-7 since the "business" is open 24-7. Whats more - I've been asking for help on this issue for 2 weeks - replying to a Geni request for a direct email - that they have never responded to. So unless you have something to offer - why waste bandwidth.
