Using events to track settler parties?

Hi

An idea - could we use the events functionality to track the members of each party we have on Geni? i.e. we have an event in 1820 for each settler partie with the members in it.

That would be a great idea.

I think the event should be the actual Party and ship. Then each ship name would have all the profiles linked to it including the children in that party.

I will have a crack at it with my Settler ancestors and see if it works,
