Died Of a Shot
Hello,
My name is Vanessa Medinger Lankford and I am looking into my family history and came upon Jacob "Crazy" Wolf out of Rowan county. I was born in Salisbury, NC and so was my mother Gloria Jean Milhollin (who married Cornelius Lawrence Medinger) and her sisters Donna Ray Milhollin and Colleen Gheen Tomlin. My grandmother was Maude Colleen Dwiggins, GGrandmother was Fallie Louise Veach, GGGrandmother was Catherine Louisa Wilson, and GGGGrandmother was Nancy Camoline Deadmon. As you know, there are a lot of Deadmons in Davie/Rowan county and that is how I came upon you. I am copying all of the people who have anything posted over the last 10-12 years on Ancestry.com, Rootsweb.com etc. concerning the Deadmons and/or Wolfs.
It is overwhelming how much information is out there on the web and so much seems to have been sorted out already with each of your many posts, updates, stories, and documentations. I was wondering if you would like to share your final findings with me? I hope to maybe fill in some gaps with some heritage stories and perhaps even add some new ones for the tree. The web is great right?! Now maybe my family can add some more pieces to the enormous family puzzle. I would be happy to share what I have (pictures/stories etc.) with each of you as well- though it's nothing as in-depth as what you have already found and investigated. I am amazed, in awe, and inspired by all of your consistent content out on the web and truly appreciate all of your time, energy and effort put into piecing together all that you have!
Looking forward to connecting with you!
Warmest Regards,
Vanessa
