This has bothered me since day one. This phrase does now work with viewing_user gender rules. Please fix!

ticket: #SUM-383979

I do not believe it should follow gender. Neither should "Follow Us" or Try for Free

Maybe in Hebrew, but in Spanish, "fan" can be translated male or female. You wouldn't write "Become an actress" unless you knew you were addressing a woman.

Victar, there was a bug in the way the viewing user dependency was processed. I just fixed it and it should be working across all the viewing user dependent translations after our next deployment. Thank you for pointing this out.

Awesome. Thanks Mike!

Private User, this still seems to be an issue even with the update.

Private User, do you think you could take a second look at this?

The two phrases which begin "Be the first to..." are also affected by the {viewing_user} gender problem, i.e. http://www.geni.com/tr8n/phrases?section_key=&search=Be+the+first

Thanks for fixing this Michael. I hope we can hear from you this week about some of our other issues.
