Source for Tutankhamun?

Perhaps I'm a skeptic, but tracing back to Tutamkhamun sounds just a bit to good to be true. May I ask what sources were used? As my professional genealogist cousin used to say, "Paper doesn't refuse ink." (Not everything printed is true.)

The link from this lineage to the present are most likely wishful thinking, and the link to the Biblical Tree is more metaphorical (it's to Mizraim, Egypt's proto-ancestor).

That said, the lineage itself IS pretty well documented, if fragmentary at times... just like any other lineage. These Pharaohs really like marrying their sisters.

Did you see that King Tut's pedigree has been verified by DNA testing?

Here is a short story about King Tut & a ancestor tree with pictures next to the names.

If Tut's 2 children were still borns how can he have descendants ? Am I missing something ? ; - )
