Location and Connection to Germany

The link above is a google.com map that indicates the close proximity for both Rohrbach and Kandel, Rheinbayern, Germany. Since I can not find any Jacob Pfister born in Rohrbach on 09Apr1824 I am deducing that he may be Jakob Pfister of Kandel born 07Apr1828 and baptized on 09Apr1828. He could very well hav taken on the year of his dead brothers birth. Since both siblings have the same parents, I feel safe in proceeding to dig ancestry of the Pfister lineage. I have copied and pasted notes from sources to support my deduction
