Bertha graduated from Schuylkill Seminary (now Albright College) – Date unknown. She also attended Hospital Nursing School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Bertha died April 29, 1975 and is buried at Pleasant View Cemetery near Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania.
