"By whom also we have access by faith into this grace." Romans 5:2
"Through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father." Ephesians 2:18

"No man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
Whether we think of salvation, worship, or ultimately heaven, the same truth applies--we have no access to God apart from the mediation of Jesus CHrist. When Jesus explicitly declared that "no man" can approach God apart from Himself, He meant "no man", no matter what religion or merit he has. CHrist alone is "THE WAY" to the Father, as Hebrews declares--"Boldness to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way." Hebrews 10:19,20.
