I am staying with the Public Discussions, imho more ppl get notified from it.
Anyway here are samples of the above error

When I get these, I click on the button on the bottom. Why does Geni show something as a merge when you can't do it. Noah Noah Tutak is Geni paying attention?
Of course we are paying attention. We've had this rule for a long time to prevent users from accidentally performing bad merges, mostly among their close relatives. However, I'm not sure it make sense for the historical parts of the tree. We'll see about removing this restriction, it seems to be one of the biggest remaining blockers to completing merges now.
""it seems to be one of the biggest remaining blockers to completing merges now.""
Noah sorry I don't think so..
I have two of my pages with this problem

The lists are not clearing off the page..
Eldon Lester Clark I understand, but I think we are going to fix this by allowing users to complete more merges. This is not an issue like it used to be, so we are overly-cautious in preventing you from completing some merges.
Angus Wood-Salomon I don't understanding, are you saying that this can't merge ancestors issue is not a big problem? I didn't say it was the *only* problem, just "one of" them.

Noah I am saying the error in the above link is the most common one for me..
This one...
""This merge has already been completed""
Mike has mentioned a fix is coming . That is great.
