Message?

The Abraham Lincoln thing was probably in the Family News section under the home tab. Not sure how to get it back.

But path searches are free this month, so type the name of a famous person in the search box in the upper right, and then click on their profile. Then you can click on the box near the top to see how you are related..

I am a non-paying member. Someone sent me a message and i cannot find it again in case I want to reconnect with that person. unless they write me back, I won't have anyway of verifying the spelling of their name, etc Also, one people jsut want to give you information, but they don't want to join. It is too hard to build a tree this way. Can anyone suggest how I can find this message again?

I tried to start a new discussion, apprently ai am blocked from that as well. I can;t really try this website out to see if I like it. So far it is frustrating. I didn;t have time enough to try ito ut on the trail a year or so ago. I cam just getting back on.

Jeanne, I'm a PRO user, so things may be different for me - but every Geni message I've ever received is in the Received folder in my Inbox. Have you checked there?

Also, sometimes when I'm looking for a note from someone, I've found that it was a Guestbook note instead of a Geni message. Your Guestbook is on your profile page, you probably have to scroll down to see it.

To find your inbox, messages, etc. - click on the little box with a numeral in it - top of page, between the Search box and the little profile picture of yourself. Weird place to hide it, but access to it is there!!
