Bjorn, how do you get control of abandoned accounts, there are several that I would like but when I ask Geni help, they just turn them loose.

I don't know if it is still the rule, but after one year of inactivity (no login) Geni removed management of public profiles and you got a "finder gets them" situation, - for the above profile I probably got management because I found unmanaged profiles in an area I was working on.

I am the one of the curators that work most with cleaning up abandoned accounts and Geni have also used me several times as a garbage can for abandoned profiles which was to tangled into others trees to be automatically deleted, since it probably would give most people access.

Bjorn, I asked Geni to give me management of abandoned profiles because I am online every day and am glad to do merges or transfer management. No answer yet.
