Retrieving deleted profiles

You can't at present. You have to add it back. Geni is working on this issue, to be released sometime "soon".

Some vandal from our family deleted many profiles I had painstakingly created. Even though I got them back, they didn't fit on the tree. Geni should not allow people to delete profiles they have not created. It is a flaw in Geni and I am fed up after taking so much time and effort on the tree to find that some distant relative could have the power to delete these profiles.

You should find that you can undelete profiles from the list at http://www.geni.com/list/deleted and they should be restored to the tree. If that's not the case, it's a bug we should investigate.

Please note that currently that list does not contains profiles you just was a co-manager of.

We have asked Geni to fix this and also give you a notification if such a profile is deleted.
