Presently I don't recall on what basis I created this profile three years ago? Where did the name Yosef come from? In Avnei Beis Hayotzer (introduction page 9a) and in Toras Yechiel (page 12) the second Tzvi Dov (Hersh Ber) Margulis-Schlesinger (father of Reb Yechiel Schlesinger) is just mentioned as Neched (grandson of) Tzvi Dov Margulis, no mention of how. In fact maybe it was a daughter of Tzvi Dov Margulis who married a cousin from the same family Yaffeh - Margulis - Schlesinger?!

Maybe it was influence by this family tree? http://www.geni.com/documents/view/353002560890012056?doc_id=600000... which is based on the mis-identification of R' Yisroel Ulman's son-in-law Yosef Schlesinger like we spoke?

Actually I wonder if it isn't the other way around? Who ever made that family tree may have partially copied it from my Geni tree. Three years ago was my first foray on internet, when my father died I felt that I should do something to preserve our family history. I didn't know of any other trees. I probably was thinking out of the box, speculating if Reb Yosef Luzzato may also have used the name Yaffeh - Margulis - Schlesinger. That couldn't be true because Avnei Beis Hayotzer and Reb Akiva Yosef would have mentioned that Reb Yosef Luzatto was the 2nd Tzvi Dov's father.
