It would be nice if we could filter the pending merges by the two possible acctions:
"Merge profiles" or "Request to merge" so that we could go quickly to merge those profiles we can.

yes i agree!! But this can only be done by those who manage the profiles and those who requested the merge....

I have had the same problem with another merge that was done to my tree.
Although I contacted GENI and the fellow who put this out there (more than once), alas, it is still out there and GENI has been no help nor the guy who put this info out originally.

I had a problem with wrong merges too and I had to eliminate a whole branch of my tree to eliminate the wrong merge and reconstruct it again. The support of the help team was only partial.

Carlos, I am seriously considering doing this too, with my Lumley line...one of them having been "married" erroneously to Elizabeth of York. Locked profiles are preventing me granting them a divorce....sigh!

This is not a surprise for me either, I have the problem with several merges and now some of my ancestors are married several times with differences of more than 100 years. Please let me know if you find a way to solve the problem without eliminating a whole branch

No worries, Ignacio....another cousin is helping to try to sort out the mess in this branch of my tree...angel that he is! :)

I have 1 person in my tree who appears twice on the mother`s profile. This person is a stepdaughter to the mother`s husband. This 1 person is named as a half sister to the other???? Same person. I`m at a lose as to how to make this person become the 1 person she is, not 2.
