How to ask for management of a non-user's profile

There is a person, Timothy Alan Davis, who is the manager of a lot of profiles that are duplicates of profiles that are very close to my husband - on our branch of the Veazey tree. I've tried many, many ways to contact him, including talking to the person who added him, but I get no satisfaction.

How can I tell when the last time was that TAD got on geni? How do I go about getting management of his profiles if it turns out he has left geni?

Thanks!

if a manager have been ofline for 1 year, geni "supose" to let the profiles be free of manager.
then they are there for others to claim.

in every profile, you have the names of the ones that have added them.
and also the name of the manager.

if there is no manager listed, you can press the link on the right side : more action

then you get a question of claiming management of that spesific profile, and every one else that is conected to it.

this might give you a problem tho, that geni is not doing XXXXX to help you out with.
becose you might end up with a part tre, linked to a big number of zombies all over.
and you will not be abel to clear it,no mater how hard you try.

this i know, becose some of us are these day trying to fix some lines looking like that.
the old manager(s) stil has his own profile claimd, and also his max family groupe.
so even profiles from the 15 and 1600 that are zombies, geni will not help out with !

Martin; Well said and explained; I have many profiles like that

So I have to wait until TAD's name disappears and then, if I'm 'lucky,' I may get stuck with his zombies, etc. Well, at least I'll get the profiles I want to merge. If I'm 'lucky.' LOL! Thanks, Martin!

Hmm. I wonder if it would be possible for geni.com to simply turn off all of TAD's files, anything that he directly is stated to manage, and simply make them unreachable, not locked, simply no longer accessible at all. if they can't or refuse to remove the data, have them simply cut off all the nodes so that it doesn't appear in searches, doesn't match up anything, and doesn't show up as locked. If TAD then shows up, he will have to add anything he wants, but he remains an isolate, not interfering with anyone else.

Marsha if they are "very close to your husband", they are most likely living, right? So don't even think of going after these profiles, because they ain't zombies, they're alive!

WHICH of the two "Timothy Alan Davis" are you referring to? Could you also post a link to a profile he manages? We might be able to find common collaborators that way (not that that would help with living profiles, but it's a start). They might also be able to see more of his profile than you can, such as last-login or contact info.

Shmuel, they're close in that they are related to his mother's family. They are mostly dead. And they're duplicates so I want to merge them to clean up the tree and to possibly gain more information.

It is this TAD: Private User

When I try to request a merge, there is no drop-down menu so I know there are no mutual collaborators. But thanks, anyway!
