Parent Conflict

Sorry, I can't really remember this particular branch but I found most stuff from using matches I found using MY Heritage Family Tree Builder. Basically I exported the Geni Gedcom and imported into the family tree builder and found that many many people had excact tree matches to mine and just added any branches I was missing. I also found tons of stuff for my tree at:

I took another look, and it seems like maybe the two profiles are actually nephew and uncle, since your jacobs grandfather is the same as my jacobs father. It would explain why their kids all have similar names as well, since that sort of thing tends to be kept in the family. I'll take another look to be sure, but I think I may just fix it that way.

It does look like it makes much more sense now, although I'm afraid it's all a bit confusing farther down, where I had already made merges where the names, dates, and spouses were the same. Hopefully those were still correctly merged. If you spot any problems though, let me know

Boy this was nothing like the merge I did with this other guy that left me with over 1000 merge issues - its out of control now :) Good luck with yours - geneolgy is such a pain cause they just didnt document things like we do now way back when.
