My name is Geno Stewart. My great grandfather was Addith Hale who was brother to Monroe Hale.We referred to him as uncle Monroe. My great grandmother, Maxie Hale, (who raised me a better part of my childhood through the 1960s thru the early 1980s) was the wife of Addith Hale.I knew and talked to uncle Monroe upon several occasions thru his visitations to Manassas Freewill Baptist Church and other beloved family members. One of Monroe's daughters, aunt Jeanette Mullins, was like a second mother to me. Jeanettes and Troy Mullin's son, Jim is Monroe's grandson and a close friend of mine as well.
I am glad that I found Monroe's profile here.It is nice to know that our family's legacy still lives.
