Our holistic alternative medicine protocols are individualized to each patient, case and condition. The treatment protocols can be administered 1) concurrently while the patient receives conventional treatments; 2) following the completion of conventional therapies; 3) or on their own if conventional therapy is no longer an option.
Our Therapeutic Aim:
1) Attack the cancer. Our first step is to stop the tumors from growing. Once the growth has stopped and the tumors have stabilized, we focus of causing regression (shrinking) of the tumors to finally reach the stage where the tumors disappear completely.
2) Restore the body’s natural cancer-fighting mechanisms. This is accomplished by normalizing the regulatory mechanisms responsible for cellular metabolism, defense, repair and detoxification.
3) Attain remission and maintain remission.

The Problem with Conventional Cancer Treatment
The problem with the standard approach to cancer care is that it focuses almost completely on the cancer or tumor and not enough attention is placed on enhancing the body’s natural cancer-fighting abilities and focusing on the underlying disease conditions that led to the development of the cancer. In fact, when using only conventional medical approaches, numerous side-effects that damage the immune system, and most other physiological functions of the body often occur. Side-effects of chemotherapy, for example, have been responsible for conditions such as chronic fatigue, nerve pain, pneumonia and even death.
We believe that the best treatment for cancer for one patient is not necessarily the best treatment for another patient, even if they both have the same type of cancer. Cancer care has to be individualized. We use traditional as well as alternative, naturopathic cancer treatments to ensure that our patients have the best chance at beating their cancer.
We have found that patients diagnosed with cancer have better outcomes when they receive our adjunctive, supportive cancer therapies. In fact, our treatments increase the effectiveness of chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy against the cancer cells, while at the same time decreasing the unwanted side effects associated with chemotherapy and radiation. While receiving our treatments, many of our patients are able to continue receiving their chemotherapy treatments and at the same time maintain a healthy quality of life without many of the common symptoms associated with chemotherapy such as fatigue, nausea, loss of hair, pain, and numbness or tingling in their hands and feet. The difference is clear.
If you have been diagnosed with an advanced stage cancer (stage III or IV), unfortunately treatment with chemotherapy as the only treatment has been shown to be palliative at best. (This was published in the December 2004 issue of the British Journal of Clinical Oncology which reported that for most adult malignancies, chemotherapy, in general, was minimally effective in increasing 5-year survival.) This is even more reason to consider alternative holistic medicine and naturopathic medicine as supportive care.
