Husband Joseph Harriett

I was trying to get some information on her 1st husband Joseph Harriett, but am having trouble finding anything. Theres a few things that I know and that is he was born approx 1835 in South Carolina, USA. He died in 1864 in Richmond, Virginia, USA. He married Martha Ann Alford in 1859 in Florida. Please help if you can tell me where to find his birthday and exact place along with other information if possible.
