I found a John Bice on another famly history site, when Connie Crow was asking questions about your father and uncle in 2005..
geneolgy.com.... not sure how accurate the info is, still searching ..

As i said before Leona Bice never had a husband .
My dad and uncle Rollie were half brothers and they also
had a sister married to a Woods from the woods family .
My cousin Cloutier La Cour told me they were half brothers.
And Cloutier had a different father than Uncle Rollie . Leona
was buried in Campti, La . The church burned down and all
the records were burned .
