My great grandfather Frederick Martin Dahl was born in Norway in 1861. He arrived in the U.S. in 1880 and joined the Army. He became a U.S. citizen on August 17, 1984 in Hennipen County, Minnesota. He later married Emma Carlson, a native of Sweden. They had two sons, Frederick Martin, Jr, and my grandfather, Emil Julius. My grandfather married Norma Treadaway from Tallapoosa, Georgia. They had two sons, Emil, Jr, and Kenneth Martin (my father). My grandfather died in 1972. I have a newspaper clipping stating the above facts and also a picture. I am anxiously awaiting your reply.
