My name is Marion Betty Brown Segal. I am named after my father's father, the same as Bruce Myron Abramson. In the first grade of school, the teacher dropped the MARION from my name because there was another MARION in my class and I became BETTY BROWN all through school, until my sister Rose suggested I start spelling my name with an E like Bette Davis instead of the Y. Everybody kn ows and older sister is always right so I became BETTE BROWN, and then I became BETTE BROWN SEGAL and that is who I am, sister of ROSE, LEAH, ARTHUR all deceased and OSCAR, my younger brother.
