There is a question as to who is the mother of Joseph M. Warren. There is no death date for Rebecca, and no marriage record for Lavinia. The confusion arose when Bobbye Harkins (original researcher of first family's children) found the 1830 Census of Rankin County, and that indicated he did not have a female old enough to be his wife. The 1828 death date for Rebecca and his marriage to Lavinia was based on that 1830 census. and Joseph L. Warren's birth year as 1828.
However, John Warren, son of Joseph M. Warren and Lavinia (?Lovett) was born October 1830 .... so the 1830 census is in error as to female ages... Bobbye Harkins now believes Susannah (born 1825) was the last child born to Joseph M Rebecca. I think Joseph L. Warren should reflect his mother was Lavinia.
