Herbert and my brothers Arthur and Franklin used to play the harmonicas, and one summer that Vividly stuck in my mind was being up in the Catskill Mountains and visiting one of the local hotels. Our family was staying at a Cuchalane which was a glorious rooming house. The Hotel which was a short distance down the road had an amateur hour and my brothers and cousin Herbert played a song,East side west side all around the town", and my cousin Shirley,Herbs sister was dancing to the music on the stage. A stage manager had a color wheel spotlight shining on Shirley as she danced. I was in awe! I was probably about 8 years old then and Shirley was to me in my eyes a prima ballerina.
