Dagne - I have found all of Opap letters from Latvia over the last 50 years. In them, I have about 30-40 letters from Milda from 1948 to 1957. I am reading them very slowly as the cursive is hard to read in Latvian. But last night, I read that Milda is writing Opap a letter on Dec 18, 1955 and makes reference to her brother Vilis. She says, "Vai tu atceries manu brali Vili.......................vins jav pats is sen miries, bet vina sieve, Dorina vel ir dziva...... Anyway, that is the first time I every hear that Milda and Anna have a brother and your family tree makes no reference to that. Can you recall? I will send you a photocopy when I get back from Seattle next week. Evita - would your mother know anything, as he obviously stayed in Latvia after the war.
