CHRISTMAS is the birth of the Son of God on earth. And yet only the first Christmas took place in a stable. Every Christmas since then has taken place in human hearts. Every Christmas since then is significant in so far as it records the birth or re-brth of Christ in men and women. Every Christmas is a celebration and there is no celebration that compares with realization of its true meaning- with the sudden stirring of heart that has extended itself to the core of Life-divinity manifest in humanity. The Incarnation, the Word made Flesh, came to dwell among us and to redeem us, The Word which is the Way, the Light and the Truth.

FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE- which cannot be bought or sold or bartered, but only given away-are the well-springs, firm and deep, of Christmas celebration. These are the gifts without price- The ornaments incapable of imitation. These are not always easy to come by, but they are unlimited in supply- ever in the province of all.

THIS CHRISTMAS then, let us bear witness to the Truth. Do His Will. Mend a quarrel. Build peace. Seek out a forgotten friend. Dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust. Write a love letter. Write a poem. Read more often. Share some treasure. Have no regrets. Give a soft answer. Encourage youth. Manifest our loyalty in word and deed. Keep a promise. Find the time. Have no regrets. Atone for sins. Forgo a grudge. Forgive an enemy. Listen. Apologize if you were wrong. Try to understand. Flout envvy. Examine your demands on others. Think first of someon else. Appreciate. Pray. Be kind, be gentle. Laugh a little. Laugh a little more. Deseve confidence. Take up arms against malice Champion and emprace the sanctity of Life. Decry complacency. Express gratitude. Be polite. Go to Church. Welcome a stranger. Gladden the heart of a child. Take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of the earth. Speak of Love.

JOY, PEACE, LOVE, BE YOURS THIS CHRISTMAS AND IN THE YEAR TO COME
