I have discovered another researcher's notes about the family connection of James Scotthave
James Scott. His father was thought to be a Captain Scott, who was a member of the British army or militia, so the family lore says. James was orphaned in the War between US and British and somehow made it back to England.
Just curious in case someone anywhere has any information to add to the story, and any facts that might turn up. Such a long time ago.
