Interesting discussion. I have only been a PRO for a couple of months and I have a number of issues with merger issues.
However, at the moment I seem to have technical difficulties with "merger issues". I have notified the help desk but have not had any response yet.
1) after I have completed a merge of 2 profiles the notice does not disapear from the listing on "Merger issues", and when I click on it again the person's profile comes up.
2) Yesterday I had 24 merger issues, this morning I had 3005 & at the moment I have 2985 - I am unable to open up my "merger issues" so I do not have a clue what it is.
Does Geni have a glitch in their system or did someone load in a whole bunce of profiles from another program?
Am I the only one have these problems?

Every time someone adds a new tree there are a bunch of Merger issues. Most of these are just questions for confirmation of merging a person from the newly added tree with someone you already have in your tree.
You will probably be able to enter you merger list if you try to connect from a PC with a faster internet connection. It takes time for Geni's database to sort out 3k people from their database of millions of people.

I still have a problem, I have three more merger issues this morning than I had yesterday, 2988. It is possible that someone loaded a bunch of info and it's too much for the system to handle right away.
I doubt it is the speed on my internet. I have a new brauser and the speed is exellent.

Hei. Ligger inne med 28 merger issues. Det har jeg hatt i lengre tider så det er ikke i det treet som jeghører til. Det Forandres jo en del der etter som personer legger inn flere folk. og andre igjen merger disse. Problemet som du har høres ut som et problem som ligger hos geni. Du kan jo prøve å kontakte geni ved å trykke på help nederst på denne siden å høre med dæm. Det kommer da opp en ny side og der står det contact us øvers. Trykk på den linken så kan du spørre geni.

Jeg kontaktet "the help desk" med engang torsdags morgen da jeg hadde 3005 merger issues. Jeg har knapt så mange profiler på Geni så noe må være galt. Jeg har ikke hatt svar fra dem enda, dem er muligens lei av maset mitt, jeg finner feiler hele tiden som eg skriver til dem om.
Nå i kveld har jeg 2977, så det har gått ned 11 siden i morges. Skal se om jeg kommer in i "merger issues" nå.
