The computer age has brought us an awakening. With the passing of each generation. without a doubt, ' word of mouth' history also dies. Especially if we are too busy to bother. It takes very little effort folks. Tell us (each other) what you know of our family. Even little bits and pieces are important. Our ancestors did not have the modern facility to communicate as we can. It is better late than never. Please don't wait. Get on the bandwagon. Thanks Zamina.

I'm planning to oranise free classes on "Using Internet to do genealogical tree" in my local library in the early 2016. Will probably make a video recording of these and post them online... although they'll be in Russian so not many people here will benefit.

And on my next trip to see my family, i'm going with the audio recorder and am planning to ask people to just tell me about their childhood as much as they can, especially my father's father, who is the last of my grandparents.
