In my personal files, I have assigned Anna ? as his 1st wife with children Johann (Abt. 1753), Thomas (Abt. 1754), andPeter Thomas (4 July 1760). I have also assigned dates for Anna -- Born about 1725 and Died before 1781.
Then I have Elisabeth Enz as his 2nd wife (born abt. 1757) married About 1781 with children Cornelius Thomas (23 Sept 1781) and Sara (Abt. 1783). I haven't changed anything on Geni but logic tells me this has to be correct.

Hello Wendy,
Thank you for reaching out and telling me what information you have!
This information directly affects my direct ancestor: Cornelius Thomas Sawatzky #3857 who would be born to Elisabeth Enz and not Anna.

My records only go as far back to Jakob Isaak #3913, a grandson of Cornelius.
I would love to learn more about your personal files about what you have mentioned above.

When I decided on which children belonged to which mother, I looked at the dates and the information that was in Thomas J. Sawatzky's file on Grandma online. It stated that although all the children had been assigned to Anna, they were not all hers. She had been born around 1725 so it was very unlikely for her to be the mother of Cornelius Thomas #3857 or Sara (born in 1783) as Anna would have been over 55 years old. This led me to believe Elisabeth Enz was the correct mother for them.
I don't really have any other information to give you but I will check with my mom when I get a chance. She has also worked on the Geni tree in the past but she lost her account info so I am helping her get back on.
I will give you the link for an article that was in the magazine "Preservings" on "The Berthaler Sawatsky's" that you may find helpful. (It was cited as a reference for Grandma) The article is on page 14. https://www.plettfoundation.org/files/preservings/Preservings9-2.pdf
