Problem with this page?

Hi. I am researching my family tree and have hit two very serious brick walls. The one I am writing about is on my maternal side.
One set of my great great parents were a man named John Starr and his wife Nancy E. Bailey. He was born in Ky in 1804 and died in 1880 in Clark County Indiana according to his tombstone. Nancy was born in Kentucky in 1809. Neither of them have verified parents. There is so little information about them that has been improperly recorded that I am at a standstill. I found a feed concerting "my" John Starr. No one has been able to verify where this man came from. it definitely doesn't help that there are far too many John Starr listings and too many different stories. I have done a DNA test and am most definitely related to him. Is there anyone on this site that knows anything about him?
I have verified that his parents were NOT John Starr and Rachel Jobe of North Carolina.
Nancy's parents were listed as William Bailey and Patsy Brashear. They in fact did have a daughter named Nancy E. but she was younger than my Nancy and married a foster.
John and Nancy Starr were married in Kentucky in 1931. Have marriage bond. they then moved to Clark County, Indiana around 1835. Where they raised four daughters and were together until he passed away in 1880. He had a brother named Jesse who was shown in a census living with Nancy (widow)and head of household. He was listed as her brother in law.
and I am stuck! Is there anyone who can help me with this????? Thanks for listening and I am so sorry I wrote such a long post
