1. There are no Sanfords living in Haverhill NH when this Clarissa Sanford died
2. There are many Ladd family associated with Haverhill NH (<Ladd> being her suggested maiden name)
3. our Clarissy is said to have been born in 1793... she had had several children by 1841 and was divorced
4. Her ex., Joseph Marden Sanborn remarried: September 25, 1824
5. It is doubtful then that Clarissy had become a student in the early years of the Academy/Institute. After all, she would have been in her 30s
