For years there was a Norwegian restaurant called the Atlantic. It was a Norwegian restaurant that made "lapskaus". A thick and rich Norwegian stew they served over a hefty scoop of real mashed potatoes. I've never tasted better. GRU a waitress there always made me a plate as soon as I walked in. It was like coming home.

@ Larry Hyvonen We have this dish in Finland called "lapskoussi". It's traditional dish in town Rauma (Swedish Raumo).
