All the records that connect David Lewis McDonald to Hugh and Rebekah contradict what's recorded about David Lewis McDonald's life. He was born in Georgia, but Hugh and Rebekah never lived there. All his life records while in South Carolina are in Greenville - their son David lived in the county of Hugh and Rebekah's residence and where they conducted land transactions (Chester and Fairfield). At some point I'd like to disconnect David Lewis McDonald from Hugh and Rebekah, which will hopefully get researchers spending time seeking his real ancestors.
