We received the following correction from an Internet user, with the recommendation to separate this profile for Wilhelm Lenz from mother Annie Heisenberg (Wecklein) for your consideration:
Wilhelm Lenz was born 1888 in Frankfurt. The claim is that he was the daughter of Annie Wecklein. At this time Annie Wecklein was a 16 year old girl living in Munich with her sister and parents Nikolaus Wecklein and Magda Zeising. Annie, never having been married before, married August Heisenberg in May 1899. If Wilhelm Lenz was her son out of wedlock, with father unknown, the son wouldt have the last name of the mother, namely "Wecklein" and not Lenz. Thus, unless there exist documents explaining the unusual circumstances and that at that time the distance Munich - Frankfurt was not a short train ride, the claim becomes quite unbelievable.
