I'm trying to figure out what the note in my third great grandfathers churchbook entry means.
Basically my forefather Johann Aapraminpoika Kapanen was a soldat from 1855-1859. Only for four years and in his churchbook entry there is a note about his service.
Did he get injured? How did he manage to get free from service with only four years.

I have been trying to find his entry from his soldat time in the Pyhän Marian church in Saint Petersburg, but he is nowhere to be found, even though the soldier entries from his time are available.
So can anyone understand what the note is saying?
