I have a close friend whose family is from Northern Italy. His father is in Hospice so the family was thinking they wanted to start a tree on line. Silvano is a little overwhelmed by the process so I volunteered to put them up on Geni.
When I began the first 3 generations of his tree, it seems someone had already started one on his father's side. It was so cute - when I told the family Guiseppi started a tree in 2009 there was a lot of back and forth between the Italians and Chicagoans...But I'm not sure if he's still alive. I'd messaged him and not yet gotten a reply back. It sorta looks like he started the tree and then abandoned it.
I'd like to merge the trees. Can somebody help me combine our two trees? and maybe be a resource when a curator may be necessary when I can farther back into the tree. Dream of dreams is if that family helps and starts putting up their information. Wouldn't that be fun?
