I have a relative called Stanislaw Rejer / von Reyer in my tree, born 1802 in Poland:
Stanisław von Reyer
Having done a DNA test, I see a lot of distant relatives in Finland.
My understanding is, that the noble Reiher / Reyer family was residing in Kurland / Couurtland area (currently the Baltic states).
I am curious to find out, if the Rejer / Reiher / von Reyer branch in my family, are descendents from this branch? Or if it is a separate branch, of German / Preussian origin?
