Suggestion from someone who's NOT a Geni user, stating that she never changed her name to Somerhalder:
Just emailing you about a problem I have with actress Nikki Reed's page. She's listed as the above name, but there's no evidence out there that Reed changed her name for marriage. And she and Ian Somerhalder gave at least one of their daughters both of their surnames, which further supports the notion that she never changed her name for marriage. I may be wrong, but since there's no information on a name change that I can find, it would be great if she was listed by her birth name of Nicole Houston Reed.
