This is my great-grandfather-my grandmother's father...

He is mentioned in the book "The unbroken chain", I don't have the book, but I doubt it has any information about the origin of the Rajzman family.

From a check I made, I found information according to which the family is a branch of one of Shaul Whal's daughters who left Poland and moved to the city of Reiz in the state of Bavaria.
...
I also received additional verification from a group on Facebook that checked that the origin of the family is either from the Bing (Bingen) family or as I found:
Rabbi Simcha Rajzman

Does anyone have any information that can help me? Does Jacobbi have any information on the subject?

TIA

Haim Katz - Hachoen Wartski So far I have not encountered any data regarding the Rajzman family in Jacobi.

Finding surnames in the Jacobi Papers is not always easy. One has to first check this index: https://www.iijg.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Surname-Index-and-t... then go to the chapters mentioned where there is another index showing where the surname appear within the chapter. I see Ries as well as Bing and Bingen in the index.I did not see Riesman.

Thank you very much Adam

As you know, my knowledge about DNA tests is very limited, so maybe the questions might sound a little strange
:
1: Is it possible to check whether I am a descendant of the Bingen family?

2: With the DNA matches that I have, is there a possibility to know from which of my parents the match is? I only know that if I have a match in X-MATCH, then the match is definitely through my mother
