My great grandfather Józef Kisielis was born in Isłauże/Išlaužai Pogiry/Pagiriai parish in 1832, son of Antoni and Anna Dyrsa. He left Isłauże/Išlaužai around 1850 and lived in Dwór Rudawa in Grodno Gubernia, Belorussia where he died in 1879.
The oldest Kisielis, the ancestors of Józef were Michał Kisielis born about 1711. He died in Darguże, Pogiry/Pagiriai parish in 1781. His descendants lived in Darguże and later, on the beginning of XVIII C in Isłauże/Išlaužai. In this village lived many Kisielis families but I couldn’t connect most of them to descendants of Michał. The last descendant of Michał I found was Kazimierz born in 1922 in small hamlet of Biarupy (Biarypus on the map from 1914) near Isłauże/Išlaužai. The place doesn't exist anymore. Kazimierz was son of Jan and Anna Zizinas. I didn't find yet their marriage certificate. Jan was grandson of Antoni and Anna Dyrsa.
