Hello All 50 Managers of Friedrich's profile. I am not one of you, and this has nothing to do with another recent post about several other questions about dates asking for Curator's help. At first I was going to just send this to Arend Driest, who is the sole manager for Bussche-Ippenburg, but then I decided that the issue is of potential interest to all. I don't see any source listed on Bussche's page for the fact that she was an ex-partner of Friedrich. I tried looking for any mention of this extramarital affair online, including Wikipedia and a general Google search. So far I can't find any mention of this, and normally they're not at all shy about listing mistesses or even rumors of same. What strikes me as especially ironic is that Friedrich's own biography makes a big deal of how much he disliked his father's history on this exact issue, and that he was not going to be the same. Not that this means he didn't, words are cheap. I would just like to understand where this information is coming from. And if it is true, why the child Maria used the last name Scnieders and how she ended up marrying Caspar Schaedler? Thanks for any help you can offer!
