I am researching my paternal line. I have minimal resources to obtain a Y-DNA test for my father and he and Ma are having financial struggles too so I'm in a "use what I already have" state of mind right now. I am looking for the descendants of this family and their first cousins.
My paternal grandfather was the 2nd child and only reproducing son of Walter Frederick Krueger and eldest sister Private 's 2nd oldest daughter Private. My father is my grandpa's only child and I am my father's only child and have multiple tests showing we match as father-daughter. I am the end of my paternal line in terms of Y-DNA descendants. My father's MyHeritage test was uploaded to FTDNA and recently presented a Y-DNA haplogroup. We both first tested on 23andMe for the medical aspects. His Y-DNA according to 23andMe reads as "R-Z12". His FTDNA Y-DNA haplogroup reads "R-S18890," about 2000 years closer to common a paternal ancestor.
August and Fredericka Krueger were both born in the Prenzlau locality. August had a brother named Carl/Karl who married a sister of Fredericka named Marie/a in Damme, Prenzlau. August and Fredericka married in 1880 in Prenzlau somewhere. On 15 Nov 1880, their firstborn daughter Anna was born. In 10-11 months time, they will be making the journey from the Bremen port to Castle Gardens, New York. Settling first in Morristown, Rice County, Minnesota until 1907 when they moved to and spread across Ward County and other states. August and Fredericka had 13 Children in total, their youngest, Selma, being the same age as my great-grandma. Of their 13 children,10 would marry and reproduce.

I have been heavily researching this family and have found a few descendants through 23andMe, MyHeritage, and Ancestry and can confidently confirm their connection with DNA and records.
If anyone is descended from this family or knows of anyone connected with this family, please let me know. Until a couple years ago, a few cousins had said that my grandpa and his older brother were the "lost cousins" that no one knew what happened to them after they were brought to Washington state following their births. I'd love to be able to connect my dad with our family before he passes (based on the passing ages of his parents, i would assume i have less than 20 years left with my dad).
