Sarah Jane Russell Aynes (Honeycutt) - Proof of parents?

It certainly seems that proof is harder and harder the farther back you go. Most of my records are kept on Ancestry.com and I am connected to 145 people by DNA to John Honeycutt, father of Urias Honeycutt. In checking GEDmatch, it shows that you and I are not connected by DNA

My DNA match that brought me here today is through Barnes

Only about HALF of all cousins share DNA.

You and I show here as fifth cousins per the tree.

Problem is trying to get the correct people lined up--- brother? uncle? etc
