John Page, of Watertown who emigrated to New England in 1630, was the son of Robert Page, of Boxted in Essex and his wife Susanna Page

The Boxted man had been conflated in older genealogies with Susanna Page who married Frances Page

We had it correct on Geni at one point, but unfortunately it got corrupted. I could not find a good "undo merge" point so rebuilt the profile for Robert Page, of Boxted in Essex. Please feel free to request management if this is your line.

If you find yourself a manager of the (unrelated, as far as we know so far) Richard Page, of Uxendon in Middlesex you may wish to relinquish management from Actions > Manager options > X next to your own name.

Erica Howton -- Thanks for your hard work on this! Feel free to curate if you'd like, of course.

It looks like a majority of the merges happened so many years back that undoing them wouldn't have been possible in some cases anyway...I see a ton of 2016 merges, for example, and that's in that wonky time zone where the curator "undo" function seems cursed/haunted/something. So while I had that you had to rebuild, I really do appreciate it, as I know we all do.

Sorry for my bad link here:

The Boxted man had been conflated in older genealogies with Susanna (Syckerling) Page who married Frances (Mudge) Page

Should be

Richard Page, of Uxendon in Middlesex who married Frances Page

Part of the confusion is that Richard & (perhaps Frances, perhaps an unnamed first wife) were the parents of Thomas Page, of Sudbury in Middlesex (another rebuilt profile) who was not the father of Col. John Page who went to Virginia.
