Testaguzza, Angelo S., 72, of Weirton, W.Va., passed away Friday, May 2, 2008, in the Weirton Medical Center.
He was born February 6, 1936, in Weirton, the son of the late Joseph and Augusta Canei Testaguzza. His stepfather, James Angeline; his first wife, Judith Buchanan Testaguzza; sister, Rose Carducci; and stepson, Kurt Muhart, also preceded him in death.
Angelo retired from the Weirton Steel Co., where he worked in the BOP as a steel pourer with 36 years of service. He was a member of the Weirton Elks; the Weirton Moose; the 25-Year Club; and St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Angelo was a talented cabinet maker who loved building projects, especially recreation room additions. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Angelo is survived by his wife, Judy Harris Testaguzza of Weirton; daughters, Debbie (James) Karnoupakis of New Cumberland, W.Va., and Cherie (Stephen) Cook of Columbus, Ohio; son, James (Sue) Testaguzza of Columbus; stepson, Kenneth (Stacie) Muhart of Weirton; step-daughters, Kim (Carmen) Angelo and Wendy (Ron) Castelli, both of Weirton; sisters, Josephine Marino of Steubenville, Ohio, Judith (Joseph) Sferrella of York, Pa., and Victoria Angeline of Bonney Lake, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; and one stepgreat-granddaughter.
Visitation will be Monday, May 5, 2008, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Tuesday 10 a.m. at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton.
Entombment will be in St. Paul Cemetery Mausoleum.
