After extensive searching, I can find no evidence that Melow and McClow are two separate people. It appears to just be a spelling variation on a few documents. Most of the documents I have no direct access to see the original, so I am unable to determine if they are just transcription errors. The name "Melow" has been attached to her for so long I anticipate some people will object, but hopefully they will have more sources that can identify another set of parents in that case.
