Rachel P. Watson (Slaughter) - Parents?

Doing the math, Rachel was born about 278 days from the date of Samuel’s death. A typical pregnancy is about 280 days, so it’s entirely possible!

However - Rachel’s father on FS is a different Samuel Slaughter (son of Reuben Slaughter, son of Samuel 1758-1822). So now to determine if FS or FAG is incorrect.

I think FAG is wrong - the note on Rachel’s findagrave profile she is the daughter of Major Samuel Slaughter. This is more in line with Samuel Slaughter (1796-1863) - info on him on FS is limited so I’m trying to find any other sources.
