Cannot log in under previous email

I have been a member of Geni.com for many years. Recently, I tried to log in with my regular email address the proper passsword and it was not accepted. I registered under a second address and was able to log in, but there is no connection to the hundreds of names I had previously entered. What can Ido? Is it possible that someone blocked me?

By not accepted - what do you mean?

I tried logging out on my Tablet, thinking maybe log out, log back in would maybe help some of the problems
Instead, it looked like I would not be able to get back in. No error message. But not in. Then suddenly I was in.

If still cannot get in - send email from that email to subscriptions@geni.com
Hopefully you have done nothing from your new account and so can just close it once back in to your old account.
Alternately - also in message give email using now and that you want them merged.
