The location of Michael's grave has been lost. The graves in St. Mary's Cemetery were disinterred and moved between 1875 and 1917. Most of the records pertaining to the moves have been lost with the exception of the 910 graves moved to St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands, New York. Apparently, his wife Eliza is interred in St. Agnes Cemetery.
